Little Flower Lambs has been home to the Purebred Registered Babydoll Southdown for sixteen years.
Interested in purchasing a small group of quality, NABSSAR-registered Babydoll Southdown ewes? We will offer for sale a nice group of four ewes, ages 1-5, in early October, so please check back with us. Please let us know of your interest if you would like to be notified before this group is posted on our website and let us know what your plans will be for breeding Babydolls. We will send out notice of our available ewes to those on our wait list first, then to those who write to us, and finally, we will post them on the website for the general public.
These Babydoll ewes may only be sold to someone who will commit to developing the traits/qualities that NABSSAR represents in its breed standard. We have worked for 16 years to develop those traits in our Babydolls, with very unique bloodlines, and we would like for this work to be continued by a new or established breeder who will have the same commitment to the breed. We will still be breeding Babydolls on a small scale, but because of our work in establishing the BabyValais, we need to scale back a bit on our lovely Babydolls in order to make room for our new breed. We have very unique genetics because we have sold mostly pet sheep over the year, and only a few select breeding sheep, in order to establish a consistent, healthy type in our Babydoll flock.
